Fahion Events and Parties:

The Super Model of the World on Tour Portugal 2008 Finale take place last Friday at BBC, a famous club in Lisbon. About 30 finalists from all over the country walked on BBC club runway. The show was presented by two famous faces of our national television, Raquel Strada and Nuno Eirò both dressed by Portuguese designers.




The 30 finalists worked the runway 3 times, first with the Supermodel t-shirt on and jeans, second with underwear and last with some national designer’s gowns.




The 30 Supermodel aspirants's turned into 3 winners.



1st place – Madalena Godinho will represent Portugal at the international finale in
New York and will sign a one year fashion contract with L'agence Models.







2nd Place – Leonel Gomes will be represented in Portugal by L’agence Models










3rd Place – Joana Ribeiro will have a Maybeline make-up workshop and will be the
Cover of Cosmopolitan magazine.

Fashion Events!

The Tom Ford model agency contest, Super Model of the World on Tour Portugal 2008, began this last September 29th, with open casting calls taking place all over the country.

This year, the contest famous for its quality, glamour and ability to discover new fashion talents, will be hosted by Portugal’s national television channel SIC and presented by Raquel Strada.

The National Finale will take place at BBC club.

The winner will be represented nationally by L’angence Models and get a cover on N*Style magazine. Also, she will represent Portugal at the International Supermodel contest in New York, which already counts with the presence of more than 50 countries from all over the world.

The Little Black Blog of Style


Hello there!

My name is Pepa, I just graduated from college and I decided to create a blog to expand my Passion for Fashion. It won’t be any easy to succeed in a World Wide Web full of fashion blogs, but I’ll try to put the highlight on quality, originality, style, good taste and on the translation of the texts in as many languages as I can.

I’ll first talk a little bit about me, and how I got this Passion for Fashion.

As a child I always wanted to be a fashion designer or a journalist, however a mind full of fresh ideas and originality can absolutely NOT translate in beautiful sketches at all. So without any talent for sketches and my ideas turned out as a Barbie’s terrible handmade dress, I had to give up on the idea of turning a designer and focused all my attention to become a fashion journalist, after all both are related to the fashion industry.

So as soon as I finished high school I went to Universidade Católica Portuguesa as a communication and cultural freshman student, my “trip” as a student also involved some summer courses abroad (Italy and UK) and an all year Erasmus at Università degli Studi di Firenze studying media and journalism.

I came back to Lisbon a couple of months ago and I decided to take this year off to full in my Curriculum Vitae with internships, photography course, IELTS and create a fashion blog.

Next year hopefully, I’ll try to enter in London College of Fashion as a MA Fashion Journalism student.

So far, I had an internship as International Press Assistant at Lisbon Fashion Week spring/summer 09.
